I'm Sam, the owner of Aquidneck Island Housekeeping, a locally owned cleaning business based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. We clean homes, rentals and offices on the island, and we like to make it easy.
Who is behind the pink apron?
That is us in the logo: the friendly neighborhood cleaning lady who shows up with the supplies, a checklist and an eye for detail. Our goal is simple: island homes deserve a cleaner who is easy to book and a price you can see before you ask.
We work on the island every week, so we know the local quirks: sand in the entryway, salt on the windows and summer rentals that turn over in a hurry. A clean home is more than shiny counters. It is a calm start to the morning, a rental that is ready for the next guest and one less thing on your list.
How do we work?
- Flat price per visit. You see your price on the pricing page and we confirm it before we start. No hourly surprises.
- Supplies included. We bring everything. If you prefer a certain product, just tell us.
- Text updates. We text when we start and when we finish.
- We fix what we miss. If something was missed, we come back and fix it.
- Easy changes. Reschedule or cancel free with 48 hours' notice.

Where do we work?
We are based in Portsmouth and clean across Aquidneck Island: Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth, with no travel charge. We also serve Jamestown (+$15), Tiverton (+$20) and Little Compton (+$25).
